This Small Rooster Ale Bowl was carved in the Norwegian Folk Art Tradition.  It is made of basswood, and it features dragon style carving and chip carving.  Colors include a dark blue background, with orange, red, and green accents on the chest, wing and tail areas.  This carving work was supported through a grant from the North Dakota Council on the Arts.  The dimensions are 5" height, 4" width, and 11 3/4" length.
